Where other ghost hunters rely on brute-force blasters or single-use traps, the Fentons prefer layered, redundant systems. Fenton Coating is a natural extension of that mindset: if a ghost can slip through a door, a window, or a wall, then the solution is to make the surface itself hostile to spectral passage. The coating bonds at a molecular level with the material it is applied to, creating a thin energetic lattice that ghostly matter cannot easily penetrate.

In the broader Fenton workshop, the coating is one of dozens of prototypes and production models. "I'm coating the toaster, Danny. The toaster is a surface."
